Hi all,

My Dr ordered a c diff test for me I am going to have it done Friday.  I was wondering do they use a swab or gloved hand for a sample?  I am one who even while in the hospital had issues (even tho it was D ) using the commode rather than the regular toilet.

That ought to be fun...oh well at least I pretty much know when I am going to go...hope they give me one of those "hats" to bring home rather than a urine sample cup thing...D + small container = big mess

I had this test run several times while I was in the hospital.  They always had me give a sample in a hat.  Boy did I pity the lab folks for that one!
