so they released me today and I thought I was fine but now I have a fever that has shot back up around 100 and staying that way. blurry vision, ab pain...loss of appetite. High bp around 150/100

I had Remicade not yesterday but the night before. Im still on 40mg of Pred and 4000mg of Pentasa along with other pain meds.

Is it normal to have these sideeffects? just worrying I guess

Check your discharge instructions. Usually they give you orders that say "if this happens, come right back." If in doubt, call the doctor or hospital. Ive been given a conditional discharge before. Thats where they say we are letting you go but if you throw up, come right back, etc.

Songstress, they usually tell you to return or at least call the hospital if you develope a fever over 100. You could
have a wound infection. Please call. LOL

Songstress,

Why are you so hesitant to just pick up the phone and tell your doctor about your symptoms? Yeah...you have been in the hospital for a week now...it was serious. The temp is a tad high and with you having nausea right now you could be brewing something. Anyway just call the doctor. You don't want anything to escalate. If everything seems ok with HIM at least he can prescribe you a anti nausea med...that has always helped me tremendously in the past. Just do it. And let us know how it goes. We are all concerned for you.
