Had a colonoscopy in August and was thought to have UC...was totally refractory to all the meds I was given and ended up in the hospital for 15 days. Luckily no surgery just loads and loads of IV/PICC-line meds got me under control . Found out during the hospital stay that I actually have Crohn's. woo And , again , I just thought I'd peek in and say hello to everyone else with this garbage . scool

Thanks for the welcome :). Yeah so far with my meds I've been feeling pretty good actually. We'll see how long that lasts.

Hi and welcome! I've had my dx. changed before so I sort of know the feeling. I'm glad that you're feeling better with your meds, and hope it lasts. -Joy

Welcome aboard, I am fairly new here also. I can only give moral support and experiences that I am learning from my daughter who's 13th bday present was Crohns. I don't suffer the physical effects but I am not immune to the mental portion. It seems that half the battle with this is getting someone to tell you what is wrong, it just takes to long for Dr.'s to even look @ it being Crohns, I don't understand that.

Best to ya
