confused  For a few days I've been having a bad CD flare. I've had pain and discomfort and my usual hearty appetite has decreased.  I've been watching my diet very carefully, only soft low-residue foods.  Today I'm experiencing a different kind of pain-it's like a burning spasm which goes from the middle of my stomach around to my back.  When I was hospitalized for a partial blockage last year x-rays showed that I had stones in my gallbladder, but I've never had any problem or reason to address them.  Could this be what is causing this sudden pain?  I know that some of you have had gallbladder problems and hope you can give me your input.  Would vicodin help?  Thanks for any advice.

I am sorry that I cannot help you. I had severe heartburn for yrs and the doc just put me on zantac (it was Rx only then). In 1999 I was ill and went to the ER I had symptoms of menengitis. All those tests cleared so the next day I had an ultrasound to rule out gall bladder issues. That was when I found I needed emergency surgery to remove it. I dont know if I had stones or not but it was ready to burst so they couldnt remove it laprascopically (sp?)
