Every now and then I get these it feels like darts or shoots of nerve pain. Anyone get these? Could it be a med. effect? What are the first symptoms of arthritis or nervous system problems?

The only time I have had nerve type pain was when I had a pinched nerve or a herniated disk.  Where on your body are you getting these pains?  You should probably go see your Family doc and have it checked out.  Just fyi, my nerve pain was not Crohns related.  And arthritis doesn't feel like nerve pain, arthritis is more of a constant achy pain.

It could be a sign of low vitamin B12.

Hi, Hayley -

I had those kinds of pains when I was coming off of Zoloft. I ended up allergic to it and the withdrawal caused those shooting pains. Maybe if you are coming off a med now???

I see your list of allergies. I'm afraid I am going to go down that same road with you. So far I've had reactions to sulfa drugs (Bextra -years ago), entocort, prednisone and zoloft. I have yet to start anything else but I'm quite worried nothing will work. Can I ask what your symptoms were that you knew you couldn't take these drugs?
