Yeah that happens to me everytime I eat spaghetti. I can eat it one night for dinner with no problems, then take some leftovers for lunch the next day and get sick. Go figure!!! Isn't life with Crohns grand. Seems as if you can't win for losing with this disease.

If it makes you feel any better -- I was dx 25 years ago and STILL don't understand CD. I can normally eat red meat with no problem, but on Sunday I had a big ole Delmonico steak and I've had a belly ache ever since. But it was worth it!

what i really miss is currys oh how i miss a vindalooooooooooooooo (haha)i think i need sectioned this disease drives me nuts i cant understand why you have surgery to remove the diseased part then a few months it re-occurs i could write a book on what ifs why this and that!!!!!!!!!!!!!there is no explanation as to why this disease occurs whether its the foods we eat or whether its something to do with your immune system if there was a choice given to swallow the worm i would have no hesitation i would swallow it im so tired of meds and injections

If I understood it, maybe I could find a cure. Alas, I'm just like the rest of you. My illness follows certain patterns for years & then just changes. What the heck???

I had pain from eating a hamburger recently and ended up in the hospital with a severe flare. Sometimes it doesnt matter what I have eaten. I practically was trying to starve myself because drinking just liquid was painful. I ended up on IV steroids, antibiotics, bowel rest etc and it worked after 9 days. I hadnt had any major attacks or minor ones in about 2 years.

I am now to the point that I do not eat anything that does not taste good. I figure if it is going to hurt By God it better taste good. I have a problem with things that have too many preservatives in it.

Hey, well I'm the one Crohnie here that can usually get by on fast food. But if I eat at BurgerKing, God help me! The makers of Immodium get a major profit out of it.

This happens to me a lot!!
The other night I went with my bf and his mum to Hooters (it's a family restaurant, dontcha know!) and I had grilled cheese, fries, and fried pickles knowing I was going to die from it but doing it anyway. Lo and behold, no pain, no issues, NOTHING, not even gas. I couldn't believe it.

I don't think I'll ever understand what's going on with this disease!
