The bloat is killing me, it feels like my insides want to make a special guest appearance. Right now this is my primary symptom, everything else is pretty normal. So, anyone tried peppermint tea? Does that do anything for you? Peppermint candies? Anything?

It's suppose to be helpful but for me it makes me gassy and cramp up, I drink a cup of chamomile everyday with success, among a list of other natural supplements which all work well in conjuction for treating my CD.

I quite like a cup of Peppermint Tea, with a slice of Lemon, its quite refreshing. Seems to suit me.

Peppermint tea is really soothing to me when I have really bad stomach problems. I started drinking it shortly after my resection when I was still having lots of problems adjusting.

A friend of mine suggested I take swedish bitters whatever they are. I guess you'd be able to get a potion of this at the health food stores....she swears by it. Personally haven't tried that yet....but peppermint tea does help settle my tummy.

I drink peppermint tea or camomile but make sure that they are diluted.  sometimes I'll put a touch of honey.  really calms my tum tum.
