SOometimes after I eat I get very lightheaded and fatigued. At times I feel I could faint. It seems as if I am not processing my food correctly. At other times I get this feeling before I eat, when I'm hungry. To me it seems like a blood sugar kind of thing but I have been checked for diabetes and the doc says no. I've also had my thyroid checked and that's fine. Also, my B12 levels are supposedly good. I am only on Protonix and an asthma inhaler at the present time.

Does anyone get these symptoms? I think they might be CD related but could it also be something to do with how my gut is now processing food?

I also have to eat on a schedule or else I feel really sick; specifically, lightheaded. I think its an electrolyte inbalance. Going to much and not getting enough nutrients absorbed or something. Gatorade or pedialyte helps. I know sugar can be bad for crohns but it helps my dizzyness.

My son use to feel the same way. After the doctor gave him iron supplement it went away. Did you get your iron levels checked? Just wondering!
