Hi all,

I seem to always be tired.  I had my bloodwork done which checked my iron, folate and B12 levels done a few weeks back.  I have yet to hear the results.  I had the bldwk done the day before my B12 shot so they could see if I need it more often.  At least when I take my dilauded for my pain it gives me some energy.  I did start back working this past week too and I could barely stay awake to watch TV til 9:30 pm.  I did find the night I didnt take a tylenol PM I woke up mult times during the night for no apparent reason (didnt have to urinate or have a BM).  I feel like I havent slept in weeks but when trying to fall back to sleep after waking this weekend it was impossible.

Any tips?  I see my GI next week and I hope he has the BLD results. I called the office where I had the blood drawn for the RA doc and they said it was sent to my GI and pcp but not my colorectal surgeon so I made sure they sent it to him and gave them the fax #.  When I saw him (the colorectal dr) the afternoon after I called to get the results faxed I forgot to ask if he had the results and if so what they were.  I am due for my B12 again the 15th but I will have my dr do it when I go that week...already doing humira myslef why give myself more shots if I will be seeing a doc

Could be you might be a little anemic. But one thing you need to remember is you have had more than one major surgery this year and it takes almost a year to recover from those things. So that could be why you are so tired as well as recently going back to work. I hope things improve for you soon.

i agree with nanners, you have been through so much in so little time. i have terrible bouts of insomnia and am currently talking trazodone. which has worked out pretty good for me until just recently. i wake up between 1-4:30 am every night (i go to bed around 10-10:30), sometime twice a night and awake almost panicked and i have an awful time falling asleep again. my pcp is concerned and knows i am dealing with quite a bit of stress and anxiety, hence keeping me on ativan. he wants me to make an appointment to meet with him to discuss depression and anxiety meds. not too crazy about the idea but, if all is said and done and i can get a soild 8 hours of sleep it will be great.

take care lady!

Hi it sounds like you maybe anemic. Have your doctor check to see if you are anemic. I was anemic
when I was first diagnosed with crohn's.
