I have had a wonderful birthday weekend!! I need to update my profile to say 26!! At first I was really bummed out b/c the people I thought were close friends last year just don't seem to have time for me this year.  We are in different classes, their boyfriends are best friends, two girls are living together now, etc... I have just fallen off their radar.  I got extra upset when I found out NONE of them could make my birthday dinner.  But, my other friends were there and surprisingly I had an amazing time.  The joke for the evening was "what crohns?" because I was doing/eating what I wanted.  Its a long weekend and I figured if necessary, I could recover.  I had a huge dinner of hibatchi filet mignon, fried rice, noodles, veggies, and sushi at an upscale Japanese resturant.  Then I went and had a pomegranate martini... THEN we went to a dessert bar and I split a slice of (gasp) chocolate cake, and had a chocolate martini.  I went dancing, and had excellent "intimate relations" with my husband that night.  It really couldnt have gone any better.  My husband had 2 dozen roses for me...(pink)... it was all just what I needed to forget my other "friends."  Then the next day I felt FINE... It was amazing for someone w/ crohns who cant eat chocolate, or drink alcohol much.  I went hiking I felt so great.  Anyway, I am also super excited because I have been taking digital nature photos for a long time and at the urging of my family Ive put them up on a website for sale.  I have only sold one and its to my mother in law so it doesnt really count.  But the comments I have received on them made my day.  I did it more to share my pictures and get feedback then anything else.  I didnt want to put them on a free website because all my relatives started wanting them and printing for others adds up.  I'd like to share my work here because I consider it an accomplishment albeit a hobby but Im afraid since I do sell them it would violate forum rules.  Ill wait for a mod to chime in.  If you really just can't wait though, feel free to email me for a link :)  Now I just need to stop pushing my luck and go back to eating my crohns friendly diet!!
