i am trying to decide wether to stay or withdraw from a study due to flare up of symptoms on the placebo;ll. I still have 3 weeks left until guranteed active drug.
i have been pretty sick now with bleeding worsening and bathroom trips increasing. its pretty much up
to me at this point.
anyone been in this prediciment before ?

So you are in a Humira study, but you are sure your getting the placebo? Are you outside the U.S.? If you remove yourself from the trial, does that mean you can't get the Humira?

I can tell you that Humira has worked great for me, been on it since March (it's been approved in the U.S.) So If I were you , i'd do anything it takes to get yourself on it as soon as possible.

If you withdrew from the study, how long would it take for you to actually get the drug approved and available? It took almost 6 weeks for mine to be approved and shipped.

I hope that you can get onto the real med soon. I've had great results from it for both my gut and my joints.

I think you should stay in but that's your call.I am on humira and with having crohns and RA it works on both.
