My tail bone is still hurting.  It's not just my tail bone but my whole bottom now.  It started with just when I would sit in certain chairs now it's all the time.  I'm even having a hard time laying down. Hydro is not working.  I have a ct scan scheduled for Thursday and an appointment with my GI on Friday.  I know I should call about it but there's nothing to see.  I haven't heard of too many people with this issue so I have no idea what's going on.  It's not minor pain either.  I can barely stand it.  It's spreading and getting worse.
Does anyone have any ideas?

so sorry to hear your having so much discomfort. I have no idea but wondered if a hot water bottle or sitz bath would be of help. I'd keep myself topped up with pain killers no need to suffer unecessarily and hope your GI can help come Friday.

Is there any discoloration or swelling between the cheeks of your bum at the base of your spine? My husband experienced similar pain and eventually it was discovered that he was suffering from a pilonidal cyst. It had to be surgically excised and drained but has never caused him any problems since.

30+ years living with Crohn's.
