Hi!!  I have had crohn's for 23 years diagnosed at 20.  I am currently taking 100 mg 6-mp, 12 asacol and am going to have my 3rd dose of remicade on thursday.  I also have a non reversible colostomy due to them removing my rectum.  My question is that for the past 2 weeks, my symptoms of vertigo and lack of memory and concentration have gotton soooo bad.  I can't even carry a conversation with someone without forgetting about what we are talking about half way thru the conversation.  My family will speak to me and its like i cant grasp what they are saying.  Also, my vertigo is so much worse.  My vision is even wierd--I see spots all the time and see things out of the corners of my eyes.  And worst of all is the fatigue and tiredness.  I could sleep my life away!!  I was wondering if this could be the remicade making these other symptoms worse?  Any input would be so appreciated!!  Thanks, Claire

Have you had your B12 checked lately? I know a low level of B12 can cause these same symptoms. I sure hope you have a appt soon, don't let this go on too soon.
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.

Hi I would read threw the symnptoms of each drug and see if there are side effects that corespond with what problems you are having. I am not sleeping all the time but the conversation thing is a little off. I have to concentrtate harder at times depends what kind of day I 'am having if I am busy running for app. or not.I also am on Imuran and Rem. I am not seeing spots but vision can get blurry at times if I use computer too long. lol gail

I don't know. I have all of the same symptoms you do, and have for a while. I am on Remicade and right after my treatments I'm not as tired anymore, but I about a week or so later I get completely drained. It sucks I know and I also have to take care of babies all the time. :( I wish we were better and I wish I knew what to tell you. I've been so confused lately BC my syptoms are not being took as serious as they should be. You may have low iron though, try taking a Vitamin! One of the most important things is not forgetting what matters the most to you and trying to take care of your body eventhough its in the shape its in. Good luck with everything and get well soon!

have your iron/B12 lelvels checked. I was literally seeing stars just standing still becuase mine were so low. The fuzzy brain was a problem too.
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
I'm riding on the escalator of life....
