So, I just went to the doc last week and he wasn't too concerned with my constipation or pain in tailbone.  He said it was because the bm is pushing through and has to turn a corner and hits in the tailbone area.  Anyway, I thought drinking a lot of water, prunes, metamucil, and a dose of citrate would do the trick but I still can only get out a little bit at a time.  Wondering if I should be concerned or if I should do a liquid diet for a bit to see if that helps. Esh just when you think you have a handle on this DD it throws you for a loop.

Are you sure you don't have an abscess? One of my abscesses caused pain and constipation, and once it was drained, all was well again! Just a thought.....

I am not sure what it is. How would I tell if it was an abscess? Does it drain itself?
