I posted over on the fibro. forum but didn't get much response, so I will ask here.  When everyone talks about joint pain are you talking about your actual joints???  For a while I have had extreme fatigue.  Also i have body aches like when you get the flu.  Also extreme weakness, it can wear me out to climb a flight of stairs.  I wasn't sure if this was all part of crohn's or maybe something else.  I surely don't want anything extra wrong with me, but when i was telling my step-mom about how i felt she said it sounded like fibromyliga.  (sorry if spelled wrong)  I really hope this is normal for crohn's cuz lord knows i have enough on my plate but if not please let me know so i can persue different doc to treat it. thanks

There are several issues concerning the joints that people with CD can have. To accurately diagnose the problem, it is very helpful to get evaluated by a rheumatologist.
You might fined it helpful to read about the arthritis issues that people with CD can have. The CCFA has a good educational brochere on CD and Arthritis here:

I recently had these symptoms as I was doing the maker's diet. Not sure if it was the low carbs causing it or the toxic die-off they describe on these types of diets. It has improved as I added grains to my diet though. It was so hard to get through each day feeling like that. I hope you get better! I also have joint pain w/ my cd. Sometimes I think it may be more than just joints but I haven't pursued getting a more specific diagnosis.
