I have been having alot of joint pain lately and was wondering if anyone could be kind enough to describe the kind of pain they have with their IBD.
My pain is sharp and short-lived. It usually starts in the early evening and lasts all night or at least until I go to bed. It migrates and is mostly in my fingers, wrist and toes.
I also have pain in my ankles that comes and goes. This is more like a sprained ankle feeling, but only when I step on it. It kinda gives away under me and making me scared to put pressure on it. I can also get real shart pain from the pressure I put on it.
I have tendonitis in my elbow that never goes away. Gets better, but never leaves. I also have pain in my "behind" that I think is tendonitis as well. I get it on each side of the "crack".
I tried posting in the arthritis forum without any replies, and I have also been looking into Palindromic Rheumatism as well as SpA...

I have so many issues involving joints, tendons, and bursa that I frankly can no longer differentiate types of pain in my hips, hip bursa, butt bursa, and tendons. Some pain only happens when I move, other when I sit and the most annoying is the sharp pain that radiates down my thigh from the hip that only occurs at night and causes me to toss and turn all night. Please do yourself a favor and get evaluated by a rheumatologist. They are best at evaluating joint pain and its causes.
