I want to know if anyone out there has taken the diet pill Fastin?  And what have you noticed as far as results?
I was prescribed this pill to help with portion control and lose some of the steroid weight I gained.  What I got was a miracle!  I had horrible cramps after about 3 months after my resection.  I would force myself to try to eat something just to help get rid of them.  This never worked, neither did any of the diets I tried to lose this weight I gained.  My fatigue was horrible as well.  I was also bordeline diabetic.
Ever since I started this pill, I have lost 18 lbs. and counting.  But that's nothing to what else this pill has done for me.  I feel amazing!!  I have had NO cramps since I started Fastin.  My fatigue is just a memory, and I have noticed no Crohn's related pains...not once.  There is the occasional D when I think I can eat whatever, but that is my fault.  My sugar levels had been excellent and I actually have the energy to want to do things.  That was impossible a few months ago.
How is it this pill has helped me lose weight, become healthier and then has pretty much niped my Crohn's in the butt.  I haven't felt this good since 2005.  I would appreciate any feedback....good or bad!

I take 4000 mg. Pentasa, and one Fastin generic pill a day...that's really it!
Had a resection back in February 2007 after no relief with steroids or treatment.

My Dr refused to put me on an appetite suppressant because of my Crohn's. I struggle terribly with my weight and since my resection in August '06 and diagnosis of steroid-induced diabetes I really worked hard to lose excess weight. Nothing worked. Started to get really depressed about it. For years I had no energy to do anything. Meals consisted of fast food because I had no desire to cook. Now after my resection I had energy. Joined the Y, started fixing dinner, ate healthy and still couldn't lose weight.

My doctor put me on Cymbalta to help with the depression and it has the fringe benefits of helping with Crohn's related pains. It worked tremendously. I realized I wasn't losing weight because I was still trying to adjust to the lower weight after my surgery. I wasn't losing new weight but was working my body to maintain the lower weight. Hard to explain. I was starting to lose back in the summer but fatigue has started to set back in and I haven't lost anything in about 6 weeks.

I've lost a total of 60lbs and have about another 40 I want to lose.
