Hi ahve also been on Entocort for some time about 20 mths got it down to 3 mg now but I was having some concerns over staying on this it has been great for me but I am concered over the long term ahve you talked to anyone about the length of time oyu have been on it.  I thought in the USA they were big on not staying on Entocort too long?

I just started to cut back on the entocort, down to 6mg. At my last GI visit, my doc said that the long term effects of the drug weren't horrible so that if I NEEDED to be on it that he didn't have a problem with it but that if it was possible for me to be off of them that I should. I'm all for going off of them though if my body can do it without them.
