Former Governor George Ryan of Illinois has it. Of course he just entered a federal prison yesterday for corruption. Hope they allow him some privacy in the bathroom there! For the sake of his fellow inmates at least. tongue
Currently in remission!

We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.

Jacksonville Jaguar Quarterback David Garrard first experienced symptoms of Crohn’s disease in January 2003. By June 2004, he'd lost 35 pounds and was facing surgery.

I didn't know that Fergie has it!

I wish MORE had it, you know? So it would get more press and attention. Not that I wish anyone would have it just that I wish some of us Crohnies were famous - hee hee!

I work at a camp for chronically ill kids, and two of the weeks are crohns and uc. We had Mike Mccready from Pearl Jam my first year for 3 days to hang with the kids and play camp songs. Then my second summer we had David Gerrard come to visit and chit chat. This year we had Sarah Lang, an olympic short track speed skater. It was awesome...they were all very kind.
Diagnosed with Crohn's in 2003 at age 18, had symptoms since I was 12. Currently on Prednisone, Entocort, Remicade, and 6-MP. I have literally tried every other drug, and my GI and I are talkin surgery pretty seriously.

Well i'm irish but there is one person nobody seems to have mentioned who could be very crucial when it comes to getting more press and attention. George Bushs son has Crohns. But why am i not surprised that George has more important things on his mind like golf and stuff!!
