She was diag w/crohn's in july that GI wanted to put her on Humira..She wanted a second oppinion so we found another GI, he ran all the same test's as first GI, he stated she didn't have enough symtoms to diag her w/crohns took her off pentasa lowered her predisone
both biopsy's came back negative so he ran more test's ugi/sbft and the radiologist could
not get the contrast to go thru 6cm of terminal ill stated wasn't sure but something is there.
Been in alot of adominal pain 24/7....she also had that blood test that cost $450 it came
back negative, so the good news is she goes to Mayo Clinic in FL on jan 7 they have a double balloon entroscope that will get to the part of her intestine that no one else can get to get a biopsy.
I have sent up all her clinicals and even talked to the Dr he specializes in inflamatory bowel disease so we're praying that someone can forsure diagnose her so she can get on some medication to help her pain....I will let you know the out come....Hope you all have a blessed christmas.....
My daughter was just diagnosed w/CD on 7/12.
She is currently on predisone which Dr. is weaning
her off. Pentasa and Nexium.

Unless she has problems with Pentasa, I would ask to stay on it until crohns is ruled out. It never hurts to be cutting down on inflamation.
26 Year old married female.  Diagnosed w/ CD 3 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD.  Currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day, hysociamine prn, nexium, and ortho evra.  Good times!!!
