did anyone see private practice last night

the show was about a woman who was hospitalized by her family (committed) for an eating disorder/munchausen's.
she insisted that she did eat, and that afterward it hurt, and that she had abdominal pain. all her studies were normal, and everyone blew her off until someone did a capsular endoscopy and believed her. it was in her small bowel and not visible with traditional endoscopy. this was my life for the past year. anyway, she got to go home instead of back to the psych ward. WOOHOO

Hi, I saw that episode awhile back. I knew what was wrong w/ her as soon as she said what her symptoms were!
Hope that life gets better in the New Year and that you have a healthy and Merry Christmas!
Living with Crohns for 1 year. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful little girls.
One blessing that came with my Crohns: I thank God for each day that I can get out of bed and take care of my girls and my home.

this was a repeat there was a post on it when it first aired...I dont watch those types of shows my husband cant stand dramas
Dx with Crohn's 1987, symptoms as early as 1984.
Temp iliostomy February 2007, reversed June 2007, Ovarian cysts, migraines, allergies (incl food allergies) , oral allergy syndrome (diff than true food allergies), Asthma, Gall Bladder removed 1999, Inguenal hernia 1987
