Hi all,

There has been an influx recently in people bringing back topics from years ok, mostly from 2006.

If it's information that you want checking or advice on, then feel free to bring back the topic, if it will help in explaining something you need to know, or need support with.

However, if you are just replying to something to the person who created the topic all those years ago, please do not do this.

Chances are the person who created the topic has left the forums, and it gets confusing trying to work through all of the new topics as well as the old ones.

Ash90, I have deleted your reply on the pregnancy termination thread. I know you may feel strongly about this topic, but your post was irrelevant to the time this thread was made. As it was made in 2006, this person would have already either had the baby, or had a termination...........Or that's one mightely long pregnancy lol.

This isn't a telling off, this is just so people know for future.

Also, recently I have noticed things like, putting your email address in a post. It isn't officially against healingwell rules for you to put your email in a post. However it is preferred if you put your email address in your profile instead and guide people to that by saying in a post " you can contact me via the information in my profile". The reason being is, people get paid to go through the internet looking for people who have left their email address in forum posts. They are vicous and find ways to spam and send nasty viruses to your email address or sometimes even take over your email account. They can't do this when the address is in your profle. I wanted you too all be aware of this, and if you want to go back to your previous posts, this is easy to do, by going to the topic where your post is, finding the post with your email address in and clicking the little pencil in the top right corner of your post. Just go to where the email address and delete it out, then click submit.

Thankyou for reading all of that and hope it doesn't come across as me having a go at people. I'd rather people know, than me just start deleting posts without an explanation, because I think the post is way out of date.

Also this last one, is about posting all in capitals, and is an actual recognised rule. Please don't do it. Typing all in caps is seen across the internet world as shouting, and is deemed rude. It also makes a post difficult to read, as does typing all in bright blue.

Please familiarise yourselves with the rest of the rules here. https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=46&m=106997

I know you're all usually good and stick to them, but it never hurts to keep them in the back of your mind so you don't make errors and upset people. The rules are here to make your stay more enjoyable and safer.

Hope everyone is well, and not too cold! smurf

Thankyou

Gemma.

Boiiiing

Just thought I'd give this a bump-as it saves me writing it all out again.

Please check when the last post you're replying to was posted, and whether it still holds any relevance.

Thankies guys and gals, just trying to keep things tidy
