I found this site because I have prostate cancer looking around I found CF boy its a small world My wife (Connie) was born in 1950 yes a long time ago they didn't really know what CF was it took them 10 years to find out what was "wrong" with this poor little girl. Only after her little brother was born they figured out what was going on. Connie lived to be 40 years old (the love of my life) at her birth people lived to the age of less than one year. Connie when on to get her masters get married to me and yes adopiting to boys boy we worked hard for them two boys she always kept saying I need to brake new grounds for the kids behind me boy she did do that she would always say I have CF CF has not have me. it was so funny we would go to the store if I could not find her I would wait for that cough I could always find her
I would love to talk to anyone that have questions I have been there and done that so no question are dumb smiles Pat

Patrick,

Welcome to the CF Forum. Our Moderator for this forum is off for a bit right now but there are plenty of members to talk to. I am Kitt.

I am sorry Connie is not with you but I sure understand how you want to talk about the disease and I am sure you have some valuable info to share with the members.

Stick with us and know we care. ((((((HUGS)))))))))))

Peace begins with a smile,

Kitt

Hi there Patrick,

I see you've already been welcomed by our lovely Kitt, but I just wanted to welcome you myself.

I'm the mod in here, and am really pleased you have posted with your experiances of CF. I have CF myself and am 22, but always find it hard to cope with my husband struggling with what I go through, if that makes sense. I don't want him to know I'm in pain or ill, I don't want him stressed over it.

It's nice sometimes to see the other side of a book though. It's good to know what my husband might be feeling, when I'm not feeling too good.

Keep posting, and thankyou for introducing yourself. I've been away for a bit, but I'm back now.
All the best
Gemma
