Anyone else have this problem?

I've been really good with my multivitamins this last 3 months, not missed one. Gone up from 5 upto 6 Vitamins A and D tablets in a morning and then Vitamin E seperately.

My Vitamin D levels are actually worse now, than what they were last year, and that's makiing something to do with that's making calmium levels wrong too. Which means we need to work on getting my levels back up.

I'm confused and kind of annoyed now, as I thought I'd been doing so well!!

I've been taking 2 creon with them in a morning, along with Actimel, to make sure the tablets are being digested properly. Anyone else know of anything else I could be doing?

Thankyou Deirdre:)

I'm actually getting some sun next week. I've just stopped all photosensitive-causing medication now, so as of next week everything should be totally out of my system for some beach action. Mainly though because I want some colour to me again. I'm almost glowing white at the minute after years of hiding from the sun coz of meds. Seriously, anyone even tries to bring cipro near me right now there will be trouble:P

Hopefully with any luck, just the holiday alone will be enough to bring my levels up a bit, before I have to go back on Cipro and turn back into a vampire hiding in the shadows lol.

How are you doing Deirdre? Hows the travelling going?

hey, hey!
that's exciting you'll get to be soaking up the sun; there's not much that feels better! my traveling is done for now. i had a great time, and am very disappointed to be home. i have to admit that i was running away from a lot, especially this disease, and by the end of the trip, i was skipping out on treatments. i don't need to be told how dumb that was. i came home for other reasons, but immediately felt crummy healthwise. i'm still in the process of getting my lung function back up. i don't know when i've felt this crummy. it is definitely a wake up call - until now, i've been screwing around with my health, pretending i'm normal, but now i realize very clearly the way i'm headed if i keep it up. i don't want to feel this terrible all the time, and i know what i need to do to prevent it.
so... the trip was quite an experience all around, and i can't wait to get back out there - but more responsibly next time. i didn't realize how badly i needed this time off (i took a semester off to travel, and still have a few months of "freedom").
for now, i'm doing my best to take care of myself, and am slowly working on changing my lifestyle. it's hard work, and awful lonely most of the time. i'm mostly looking forward to breathing easily, but also to starting school again. i hope i can do it now that i've had the chance to get my health on track... we'll see. it'll be slow going from here.
anyway, i appreciate your responses. it's nice being able to chat periodically on here. ...have you heard of "xanga"? i just joined the site. i hope to kind of document life as a CFer... for my own sake; i'm sick of feeling like this is a big secret in my life, and i want to be more open about it.
anyway, thanks for the chance to ramble! haha...
hope you're a little darker! keep in touch, and take care!
-deirdre
