Hi,

Has anyone heard of or used this?

My docs have emailed round today to see if I can have it. I don't tolerate Tobi nebs very well and I'm allergic to Colomycin nebs, those are the only 2 inhaled antibiotics my unit offer. I've heard of other units nebbing other antibiotics, but mine only allow the 2.

I'm hoping that the Tobra inhalation Powder (TIP) will be a bit gentler on my throat. I think it was on the Phase 2 trials of it, they found it had a lot less side effects than the placebo they were using. That's a good sign too me. But I'm still a little nervous about it. They're not sure how long it will take to get one, might have to wait for next clinic appointment. I'm just sick of my only option to treat my chest is IV's, and they don't seem to be working as well as they should be, and my kidneys and liver are kicking up a fuss aswell.

Just thought I'd ask on here anyway, hope everyone is well

Gem x
