Is there anyone out? I so sad i found the day that my uncle only has 30 days to live the doctors say they dont know whats wrong with or what he has. My uncle was a drinker til about 4 or 5 weeks ago he went to the doctor to why he couldnt go poop and the doctor gave him all kinds of meds and told him it was him liver so he started take the meds and became very ill he and was taken to the hospital and from there he got even sick his eyes turn yellow and his stomach got big so then he kept falling everytime he to go to the bath room he was in one hospital and then they sent him to another hosiptal and all the doctors could say to him is that he wasnt going to make it so became depressed and didnt want eat he was really weak couldnt eat nothing and he started bleeding from his mouth and vomitting blood but the doctor still couldnt tell my family what wrong with him its like one day he was fine then the next day he being told by doctors over and over that he isnt going to make it. So they had to give blood trans and they told him he only had 30 days to live. I am so sad i have an 85 yr old grandma that has to watch her son die because the doctors sent him home with a 30 day supply of meds i guess the doctors cant do nothing for him. I pray to god every day to let my uncle live many many more yrs iam so worried about my granny i really dont know what tell her she doesnt want to face that my uncle is dieing i need help

Hi, dio@76, I just want to send condolences to you and your family during this trying time. I know what you are going through. I lost my mother to Cardiomyopathy, it's a heart condition that wasn't diagnosed until she flat-lined. I also lost my aunt to lung cancer, one day she was up and dancing, and the next, gone. I don't have any suggestions but I do want you to do research, don't give up! Some doctors don't care for the patient, just the practice. See specialists who can help, don't take one opinion as definite. Take charge in this and find the reason. What will hurt your family the most won't be that he passed (God forbid), but the fact that no one knows why or how. I wish I had the resources then when my mother past, maybe she would have been saved. Same for my aunt. From what you have expressed already, it sounds like Alcoholic Liver Disease, but again, I'm not an expert. I pray that your family find peace and enjoy the time with your uncle, if it is truly his time. I also hope you can get to the bottom of this in time. Please stick with us here on Healing Well, there is always someone to talk to. Everyone here has 0 judgement and 100% compassion and understanding. Please let me know how things go.

Dio, I'm very sorry for your loss and that your grandma is suffering so much. Please write your post in the Depression Forum. You will receive more answers and suggestions in that forum. This is the Cystic Fibrosis forum and I don't think you'll get the help you really need. UA and Pretty_Imperfection have written some good replies but I believe you will be better off posting in Depression. It is the forum that is just below this one. I wish you well.
