Dishes with creamy sauces are often a good one, or adding cheese to anything and everything! There are some snacks and dishes on the tips and info page on www.pwcf.net, hope that helps a bit:)

butter butter butter. is somthing has enough butter on it, it can't passably be bad, and is very good for anyone with CF. but maybe I am just strange that way. I have a book called "creative foods" and it is all about high calory diets. there are sncaks and meals, and drinks, and diserts. I don't know how my mom got it, I will find out from her next time I talk to her. some of the dinner ideas are very good!

I strongly recommend forgoing the high fat part. Focus on high protein. Consider the simple facts. People with CF dont process fat. We poop it all out. Why would we put fat in, it just acts like a lub and keeps us with runs more than it helps, becuase we dont absorb it!! With proper enzymes we do process protein. We dont just poop it all out.

Please please consider switching to a high protein diet. I am 24 years old and I weigh 200lbs. There is no way that I would be half as healthy as I am if my mom had followed the CF advise and been put on a high fat diet. There is enough fat in today's meats without adding extra. There are better ways to get high calorie diets without resorting to additional fat. Though I do admit I like butter! *LOL*
