I dont exactly know how to even write this. i havent been doing good at all. i been sick every single week. its getting harder every week. its either a brochitus infection or phenomia. i been so weak. none of the antibotics are working. im prob going to be put in the hospital for awhile but i dont know. i been doing nothing but vomitting and coughing. i have no appeite whatsoever. i wont tell my dad how i feel. i cant. i feel like im losing the battle to Cf. i dont know how much harder i can fight. the illnesses are getting worse not better. my lungs are inflamming more than usual. Should i be scared? is my time coming?i been thinking bout my life a lot lately. wondering if my son is going to be ok when i do go. then ill smile knowing ill get to reunite with my beautiful sister. but mentally im not ready to die. im not. but i think my body is giving out on me. and my work. oh u would think would be so understanding yeah right. they hate me now. i been with em for 3 yrs and lately im lucky if i work a day a week. any advice from anyone? because to be honest im scared very scared

its ok to be scared but just don't give up hope and don't fight this alone! i'v been to deaths door and back but i keep telling myself i won't touch that handle! will power does a lot more than you think and believeing  you will be ok can buy you years. Also we are programmed to notice even a slight change and think its much worse than it is so just try not to give yourself a death sentence and hold on to your life with every inch of hope in your body.

it is compleetly normal to be scard, I've been there, I am there. I too am getting sicker by the week, I know I will be going into the hospital on friday, and that it will only help me for a little while, but it is long enough for me to remember how much I love life. you will find that while CF is progressive you get used to each stage of the disease. my Pulinary functions have gone down 8% this year, however I still feel prity good after I get out of the hospital.

also if the antibiotics havn't been working for you have they done culters and sencitivities to the bacteria you have. if your bacteria is resistent to the meds they are using they may have to try a different antibiotic, or use more than one at once. whe I go into the hospital I am always on at least 2 IV antiobiotics and an inhailed one.

best of luck to you, I hope the docters can help you get your CF under controle very quickly!

confused  May you need to have a talk with your Doctor. and see if it's time to be put on a Transplant list. It gave me a new life. If the dr. doesn't think your ready, ask him about synergies( im not sure if thats spelled right) but what it is, is a study of a combination of drugs together. Befor my Transplant I was resistant to alot of drugs. So I did the study and found a combination of about 3 that worked for me.
