Well i found out today why i feel so c rappy. i have developed Af. does anyone no anything about this? all i knwo is it is a heart beat adnormally. i cant find any other info on it. is it dangerous? how much is my disease progressing? does anybody else have this along with their cf? can u still work? im sorry for all this questions. but im so confused. i know my liver is starting to eat away now. but how can cf affect my heart? i dont understand all that much about this yet. i feel so stupid but yet i have the disease. u would think i be well educated since my sister died of it however i was so young. i was like under 13 yrs old. can someone please give me some info on cf with Artial fibrillation? it would be greatly appreciated

Atrial fibrillation is not necessarily related to you CF.  Your heart is made up of four chambers.  You have two atria and two ventricles.  When your heart is in afib, the atria quiver and don't empty completely.  There are many reasons that this may be occurring and your doctor can best determine how to treat it.  One problem with afib is the potential formation of a blood clot.  Anticoagulants are often prescribed as an adjunct to treat the condition.  My mother is a nurse, so I asked her how to answer your question.
