hey this is great. I've never had this many CF resources at once, and I mean real resources from people who live it. I'm 23, 24 4-29, and i was diagnosed when I was 6months old.  I've had the ups and downs, lobectomy, polypctomy, embulizations, broncs, all that crap. anyways its never really talked about but I want to know what everyone's PFT numbers are just to see how different they are maybe becuase of age or whatever factors.

When I'm at my healthiest I run FEV- 82s and FV1-74s, when I need a cleanout probably around FEV-75-70 FV1-60-55...

If you're willing to share that would be great.  Plus i wanted to know what life is like with lower lung function/ oxygen/ lung transplant especially when a lung tx is needed with regards to indicators like PFT numbers.

Thanks

Dominic

My FEV1 is 82, my FEVC is 83, and my FEV1/FEVC is 97. I haven't done pfts in about 2 years, so I'm hoping that when I go to do them next week they are higher.

tongue  Hi Dominic and Welcome to HW!

It's good to have your info in our CF Member room, so, that everyone can perhaps know you a little better and you know them.

Go to thread:  Sound Off:  CF Member Room and add yourself.

Again, Welcome!  yeah

How many times do you all do them at each visit? Is there a noticeable variation with each time (at same visit) when doing them?
