My grand-daughter Leah has gained weight (11 lb 13)but is still coughing badly from having bronchiolitis.  We have been warned that she will have problems with infections and that her natural immune system will help later but how can her immune system work if she is on constant anti-biotic?

My daughter herself is feeling unwell now and is quite down today.  She is trying to do everything right and everything seems to be going wrong.  I don't know what to say to her.

I know sometimes things can be so overwhelming at times, everyone needs a "down" day once in awhile.  Try to stay positive.

Take one day at a time...

Hope everyone starts to feel better soon. :-)

Sea 2,

I wanted to respond to this one also because I know how your daughter feels. There will be days when she is down....after all this cf can be scary stuff. Plus it is very overwhelming and tiring doing all the treatments (especially if the child is sick and she is having to do more treatments). I dont think there is really anything to say to her. Just letting her know she has your support and help. Like I said in the last post things will get easier.
