Well, i got my test results back. i have good and bad news. Well they found only 1 gene so it looks like im either a carrier only or i have one of the rare genes that the typical test dont test for.

however, i just had another pft done and the numbers r even lower than last. fev is 75% now and the diffusion is 57% now. so they r getting very concerned bout my pft results. so now im even more baffled than before. there is no way they can dx me with ne thing but stomach issues, sinus issues and lungs problems.

ugh!!! im tired. im weak im sick i dont care ne more really. i hope yall have been having a good summer so far. if i live to be 30 ill be happy!

Tricia, sorry to hear you are not feeling well.  What lab did your gene testing and was it the amplified test?  I can't remember what your sweat test results were?  Do they do the Nasal Potential test at your CF accredited center?

Hope you get to feeling better. :-)

Hi Tricia, I don't blame you for feeling down at the moment , you have been having a really rough and stressful time as well as feeling ill in yourself. Someone in a past thread advised having an air filter. I know you probably have one already but if not I know lots of cfers recommend them. I can't claim to understand but I do sympathise.
Will keep praying for you. Sea 2 x
