Is it true that CF's need to go on higher strengths of the Pill because low doses can be overpowered by antibiotics?  That's what my doctor told me but I was wondering if anybody else was told the same.  Some say no and some say yes.  Help!?!?

Depends on the type of pill you have. When you do consider starting the pill a family planing clinic would be the best place to go. They can input all your current medication and antibiotics you might be put on, and find something suitable for you.

If I remember correctly, the depo injection is fine with most meds. Although that's my memory speaking.

There is one pill they offered me, think it was like a mini-pill. Didn't end up having it though, due to personal reasons. That pill was safe wth antibiotics though, and it was only 4 years ago I think. If I can remember the name, I'll get back to you.

Thanks, I probably should get on it soon because of obvious reasons.

Lol, your only 13! I thought maybe you wanted it to ease your periods or something.

Am I just getting old?

Well, that sorts out some confusion anyway.

Just a polite request:- In future, could you either create an account for your sister. If you worry about her using it in a bad way when your not around, perhaps you could set a password she won't be able to guess, and only let her on when your around. Or if you don't want to do that somehow signify when it's yur sister who's posted.

I hope you can understand where some of the confusion has come from. A 13 year old requesting advice about the pill and saying she's moving in with her boyfriend causes your mind to shut down for a while.

I completely understand if you don't want to do any of this, as 2 people using an account isn't against the rules.
