:-)  Hi everyone---Just wanted to say I am so glad I found this site. I have been on Zoloft for a year----never knew why I was gaining weight until reading this site----I had a very traumatic experiance last year and had a nervous breakdown-------I had been without Zoloft for 5 weeks and it was awful!! I could really tell the difference w/o it, today I had an appointment and was so glad.
I still fight depression but I am learning to recognize the signs better and trying to counteract with positive things. This site has been a huge help even in the little time I've spent here today--Thanks again

Hi there,

I too, am glad that you have found this site and that you think it has been helpful to you in providing information and support. Please keep coming back and letting us know how you get on. You, like others, are a shining example of what life can be like. Even though you still have depression, you control it rather than it controlling you... and that is a very difficult thing to achieve.

Everyone has a guardian angel. They help pick you up when you fall, comfort you through your times of need and help you appreciate the times when things are going well.

Welcome to HealingWell Emptynestmama,

I have found the support, validation and encouragement that I receive here, to be so helpful and healing. I hope and trust that will be your experience as a member of the HW family.

I am so sorry about your breakdown but I am truly impressed with how far you have come in just a year.

Hugs to you on your success.  Would you like to share your experience regarding discontinuing the Zoloft?  I am sure the members would be interested.  I know I would.

Again a warm welcome to you.
