just when i feel like i am making progress and feeling better i feel like i get my feet kicked out from underneath me. its so hard to keep a positive additude when stuff keeps going wrong. i try to stay busy so that i dont think about my x but i just cant let go of her. everyday i find it so hard to get through the day there r many times i just want to cry . also at night i dont sleep very well. since she broke or should i say ripped out my heart i have not slept well now its going on almost 5 months. its just getting worse. in the last few weeks i sleep for like 2 hours wake up fall asleep wake up again this happens about 8 or 9 times on avg. some nights more and some nights only 2 or 3 times. im so tired that it is almost hurting me at work.i need to be fully awake at work or i could hurt my self orsome one else. im worried that me being as tired as ive been that i might fall asleep at the wheel on my way to or from work.

That is some pretty good advice, think of the things she did that hurt or angered you...... AND, think about this, if she wanted you to take her back, would you? Scotty, she ripped your heart out and wanted out to be with another can't have someone who will treat you like that in your life. From what I can tell, you are an amazingly strong and funny guy....the right person will find you, just stop looking so hard. She could be a woman who has been your neighbor all these years and you didn't give her the time of day. She could now be the woman who, as a younger girl, really grossed you out or you didn't like because she is your friend's sister.....she is there, right under your nose but you just haven't found one another yet.

If you will remember, my son is going through the same thing at the same time you were/are.....he is still single, too. He finally told the ex to stop contacting him and that is when he made more progress in moving on. He has talked to several girls, but right now he's happy working on his car, hanging out with friends, and working. Now he has female friends of other friends saying they want to meet him because they have heard about him or seen him around. (He has always been VERY generous with his girlfriends, buying them diamond necklaces for birthdays, or flowers just because) now I guess other girls want diamonds!!!

I'm going to smile like nothing is wrong, act like everything is perfect, and pretend its not hurting me.
