This is what I do when I am dreading a procedure as I get anxious and even tried to leave the hospital one time.
I just keep telling my self by bedtime this will all be behind me, it will be history. I will be OK. Self talk can do wonders. During the procedure try to take your mind to some pleasant place and keep picturing yourself in that spot.
