Hi all,
I am looking into amino acid therapy for depression. In contrast to the drugs which, as you know, work by inhibiting the breakdown of neurotransmitters in the brain, AAT works by supplementing the precursors to the amino acids in question. I've copied out the holisticonline page, after seeing good results from 5HTP supplementation.

p.s. Have just noticed a mistake in the text. DLPA turns into PEA, *not* norepinephrine. Norepinephrine, like dopamine, is derived from l-tyrosine.
