Dieting with Lexapro

Has anyone tried to diet taking Lexapro?  Has it worked?  Did you lose as much as you would if you were NOT on it?  I hope someone can answer this.  I am on 10 mg and gained 15 lbs.  I am trying to diet but mentally I have a blockage that I won't lose weight.  I had a foot operation so I can't exercise with the diet.

I have never taken lexapro. But hopefully somebody else will come along with some answers. This has been a huge topic in the past. Being it is the weekend, you might not get responses right away. But when Monday comes, I am sure you will get some advice. Sorry that I can't help you with this.

Yes I have tried to diet, but I know I have to exercise and I have yet to get into the exercise mood.  I know, just do it.............I have no excuse so someone kick my patoot and tell me to get out and do it.

I have lost weight on the weight watchers plan but I have not stuck to it.

So yes there is hope so pick a healthy eating plan and watch your intake.  don't forget the 8 glasses of water per day.
