I am a pretty up person. I am very busy and pretty productive. This year while pregnant with my 2nd son I found out my cancer had returned. After my son was born I started chemo and the a bone marrow transplant. since then I am so depressed is this postpartum still (the baby is 9mo.) Or is just for being on bed rest
from the bone marrow transplant? Will I get over this?

Hi there,

Welcome to the Healingwell depression forum. I am so glad that you posted. You are going through a lot right now. And have been. I think that it is pretty normal for somebody in your shoes to be depressed. I think that most likely it is a combination of all of it. Everything can become so easily stressful. So most likely this will go away when it is time. In the meantime keep posting and we will try to help you through this. We are here for you.

Hugs, Karen

Hi there,

I think Karen is right in saying this is a combination of loads of different things going on. What I would say is that there is every chance that this will clear up though. Hopefully once you start to get over the bone marrow transplant and you start to get back to "normality" things may start to ease. Failing that, go and talk to a doctor about what they think.

Please keep talking to us
