I usually post on the Crohns board, however, I have a question for all of you.  I have GAD & Major Depression.  I used to be able to climb out of the dark hole, but, I've been in CBT for over 1 1/2.  I have good & bad days, mostly bad.  No motivation.  I am on SSDI.  I take xanex .5 nightly to sleep & cymbalta 60 mg am.  I'm not sure if the cymbalta is working or will I always have no passion for life.  I have a wonderful husband & 2 great dogs.  Other than that not interested or motivated, not enjoying life or living it to the fullest to my physical capabilities.  Is there anyone that can comment on how cymbalta worked for you and/if you are on something else now that really does better than cymbalta.  I need a new refill, but I don't know if I should change.  My last Psychiatist thought is was working only because I felt a little better, but, only cuz my teenager stepdaughter moved out of our house & there is so much LESS stress here now.  Just feel there so much more to life but I'm stuck.

Hey there,

I am on cymbalta and I cannot say it is a wonder drug as I have lost my old happy self somewhere along the line. It works better then some I have used so I have just resinded my self that I am a person that will need the meds .  I have had depression for 26 years.

Take care and good luck.

Kitt
