is it the depression?

i cant move, i dont want to do anything and i feel like a loser. is it the depression? or is it me? i feel so worthless today.

I am no judge but well if its very consistant, like if it seems to happen every single day over a decent period of time then yeah your propably deppresed, specially if it happens for no good reason. but if it just happens every now and then or so then it's less serious, it could just be something your going through and it will pass. I dont know how old you are but if your a teen or going through major changes in your life then it might have something to do with it. there is a lot of causes for deppresion...

Hi Eli,

When I talked to you the other day in chat, you were feeling down. Did you ever go to the bookstore? Or library? I remember that you were talking about getting a self help book. Have you done that yet? If you can't get to a book store, you can order one over the internet. I have done that. I hope that you feel better soon.

Heej Eli!

It is the depression talking, it does such things. Yet I agree with Karen, thinking about it all the time ain't gonna help you much. Maybe you could get all your motivation and courage together and get to, for instance, the bookstore. Reading a book can help you to stop thinking about it all the time. I believe that when you never think bad thoughts, you won't feel bad either. Depression can't exist unless you, conscious or unconscious, think about it. So getting something to take your mind of the thinking can help to make you feel a bit better.

Hello Eli,

Check on the right hand side underresources and you will find lots of information.  Look at how to get out from under this depression.............fight it and please keep talking to us.
