What a difference a year makes. Last year my husband was on his second hospitalization for depression. It was an awful situation. I was at my moms with the kids. As the New Year begins we are a family together in one home. My husband has been happy and healthy for months. Life is not perfect, my husband still has no job, so it is a big struggle financially but we are tackling the problem together.

Each day he realizes he has to fight this disease. He says he knows it can come and attack him at any time and he is vigilant in doing all he can to battle it from our lives. I am so proud of him.

Thank you all for your help and support during my times of trouble. I sincerely do not know how I could have coped without you all.

Your post has lifted me up and I am so glad to hear your hubby is doing well.
You have both worked so hard together on beating this disease and knowing it is one that may sneak back up on you is the smartest comment I have read today.
Kudos to you and talk to us whenever you need to.
