Hi everybody,
I was thinking this morning about playing a game when I was a little kid called duck, duck, goose.  You would all be sitting in a circle.  One person would be going around the circle touching each individual on the head saying duck, duck, duck.  Until they said goose.  If they say goose and you get touched, you can get up and chase them.  If they beat you back then they sit down and the other person has to go duck, duck, goose.  That was one of my favorites.
Can you think of a game that you use to play that was fun?  If so tell us about it.
Hugs, Karen

 Good Morning Karen!
I actually enjoyed hopscotch as a child; I didn't have a lot of other kids to play with so singular games were more my speed.  I hope you had a good holiday season.  I acutally got to make an unexpected trip home to see my family!!  It was wonderful to see my son, mom, brother and grandmother!!!  It was a fast trip (930+ miles one way) stayed three days and then had to leave but worth every mile tongue   I've started the year off on an even keel thus far and trying to take each day as it comes and praying for guidence; trying to do my part of the work and not just rely on the meds to "do it" for me. Also have not smoked in six days; just quit! Am hoping for continued sucess in that department.
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

This is all so wonderful. I am so glad that you quit smoking, pardon me, a better way to say that is that you are getting healthy. Six days is great. I will be here cheering you on for seven and eight and nine, etc...

I am glad that you were able to make that trip. That must have been wonderful.

You have a great day and keep up the good work. I am so proud of you. Wish I could quit too. It is so much easier said than done.

Luv and hugs, Karen

I remember playing duck duck goose!! I loved it, I was a super fast runner! lol I also loved to play Simon says! Hide-&-go-seek was also another one of my favorites. I live in the country, in a dead end subdivision, and we had lots of kids here. We all hung out all the time. So, we would all get together and was fun. But, this one house, a guy lived there with some dogs, they stayed inside, but they were SUPER mean...

One evening we were playing and there were a TON of us, the dogs got out so we took off running for the front door....I didnt make it! I was stuck I had to hide behind the bushes and play back and forth so the dog couldnt get me..I finally ran to the door(they had it cracked)..I hit the door and a pile of us fell in the floor! And someone closed the door before the dog got in!

It was so crazy and my heart so beating super fast!

So many memories! lol Thanks

Oh my I am either really old or it was my catholic upbringing , we played duck, duck, gray duck.............LMBO.

I loved hopscotch and jump rope and board games.  I loved to play baseball but as I was chubby I was often chosen last, but I could hit the ball.

Thanks for the memories.
