Hi all.  New here and am having some negative effects from my Nardil recently.  I did hear there was a change in its formulating...???  Anyone on it feeling it isn't working for them as good as it used to?  Just curious.

Hi Butterflyna,

We met over in Anxiety & Panic Disorders. Welcome to the Depression forum. I don't have experience with Nardil myself, but hopefully someone here will be able to give you some comment on it. By the way, I like your signature's a beautiful saying.

Good Morning Butterflyna,

They changed the formula of Nardil in 2003.  That was  six years ago.  I have read that many people that were doing well on this medication developed problems when the formula was changed.

Please do talk with your physician if the medication is not working for you anymore.

I am so glad you found us so please do know that we care.

Gentle Hugs

Hi Kit,

I did speak to my doctor and he seems to ignore the fact that this medication doesn't work well for me anymore. He did tell me years ago that it would be the only med that would work. Wonder if anyone was on it and was doing well then switched to another med that also worked for them (- all the negative side effects alone would be fantastic!). I will look into it further. Thanks for your feedback and thanks to all for the welcomes (hugs)
