I have had problems in the past and I told him but it makes me so nervous that he could think I'm making this up.... sad I haven't worked in 3 years not gust for depression but I have crohn's disease, which started the depression. I'm so scared he thinks its a act.... I see a therapist every two weeks and I have to take medication for it...... sad sad sad My therapist thinks I'm bipolar here in S Dakota she can make a diagnosis...... I just know I want to hide under a rock most of the time.....

Ne Ne,

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) is wage replacement income for individuals who have worked and paid FICA taxes and who now have a disability meeting Social Security disability rules.  From what I understand you have to complete all of the forms and go through a lot of red tape and then it may take months to years to get approval.  I would make sure that you have excellent documentation from your physicians as a lot depends on your diagnosis and your physician's  recommendations re your workabilty status.

I know this is really a tough one and I wish you the best in getting through all the paper work and the obstacles that will pop up along the way.

Bless you
