Joe Cal,

Hey there, I have seen this question posted before but to the best of my recollections I have not seen anyone volunteer that they have any experience with TMS.

hey joecal, here down under it is being used in private psych hospitals. so far the press on it is not that great. tms as oposed to ect is that is more dangerous, this is because it targets more neurons, thus complications have arisen, such as disturbances with thought and seizures. ect can be done on either polars, one or both, thus targeting the reboot button whereas tms is rather more a holistic treatment done a little blindly. i myself had a course of treatment, (ect) 6, much improved for having it, took some time to work, and yes it saved my life and subsequent depression and sanity at the time. hope this was helpful.

cheers, jamie
