Yes you have found the right place, where caring people all come together to help each other. I'm sorry you are feeling so low but try to hang in there and things will get better. maybe not by yourself though. Have you talked to a therapists yet? They can turn out to be your best friend if you find the right one.

You don't want to do anything drastic, especially now when you are not thinking right. The only real suggestion I can give you is to live one day at a time, one problem at a time. You can beat this but have alot of patience.

Hi John D

Not to worry. Hang in there. We know how you feel and we have all experienced that worthless feeling. Let us know about your situation so we can better help.

I was not doing well yesturday. just to let ya'll know i'm not seeing a counselor at this point, but i am going to a physocoligist( i thinks that's right, the one who trys to get the meds right). anyways i saw him yesturday and he upped my Welburtrin and changed it to XL so hopefully that will help.
Thanks for the words of encouragement.

John I am so glad things are looking better today, even if it was only 30 min. into the day, at least it is a good start and that's what counts. You are right in that the dr. you saw was for your meds. You might seriously consider finding a therapist who you can talk to. For me my therapist has been a real life saver. Anyway I hope the rest of your day continued to be as good.

Hi John,
Welcome to HW!
I do hope that you are feeling a better today.
I think most of us that suffer with depression go through times when we feel really down. It is really good that you have thought through about the effect on your family and the fact that you want to get help.
You will get plenty of support here, just keep posting how you are feeling.
Take care for now.

Debbie
