you have found an on line community that will embrace you with open arms. I can't say i know what it's like to have as many problems as you but i do deal with chronic pain amoung other issues.
I too feel unworthy and sometimes quiet useless to my husband and family but i guess we have to find a reason to live for ourselves.
I know for one there is a person in ireland that appreciates a girl like you all the way in australia posting on my thread about hating my brain, you are more important to people than you think.
Take each day as it comes and try to find a way to help yourself cope.
I look forward to getting to know you.

Welcome to HealingWell and the Depression Forum.  I am sorry we had to meet here but I am glad that you have reached out for help.
I disagree with your Doctors..............please do seek the help of another Doctor.  Are you in therapy of any kind?  A good Doctor should not give up on you.
You will be glad to know that we have members here in the forum from your land down under..............our own Maz is from Australia and I am sure she will be around to greet you.
When your fears have the best of you, it is easy to feel that things will not get any better. This is not true. There is much help available in today’s society and the best way to deal with your fears is to find effective ways to overcome them. Instead of focusing on doom, stay in the moment. Give yourself breathing space. Consider what matters to you. Establish a few manageable goals, then take small steps toward achieving them.
Here is the link to an online  CBT program that originates in Australia.  You can work the program from home on your computer.
Do take a look at it and perhaps give it a try.  It takes some hard work and soul searching  but the end result may be just what you need.
Again welcome,

hello Jessica Rose, welcome to thr forum, it breaks my heart to hear of your troubles. I often wonder how hard life is for people who are diabled, it must be really tough. but I do see many of them doing well, which also means there is hope, and depression can hit any person, disabled or not, nobody is immune, after all we are all human and we all run into problems of dificulties in our life. myself I think I was lucky, God given me many thinkgs, including good health and a good job, but I wasted myself and got addicted to games which virtually destroyed my life and now I am rebuilding and sober from my addiction and trying to find a job and do something good in life, it is never to late to make a new start.

For you I think you should try and make the best of what you can do in life, find something that makes you happy. DO you like music? maybe you can take piano leasons. or if you like languages you can try learn a new language, that will keep you buesy. I hope that you can find something that will keep you buesy and occupied, it sounds like your depression is because you have too much free time, as most depressed people. try reading a book also it helps.

it's a brave step that you decided to post here and talk to us, I hope we can be of some help to you, please do come by again and let us know how you are doing and what you are thinking, take care!
