hi gang. looks like i am to receive some community assistance from the salvo's and a dental program to have my teeth removed. one dentist has signed on in the area. have a referal from g.p. and the salvo's. need to have an opg. dr says teeth a very carious, and agrees that they should be removed.
second, i am on a cat 2 waiting list for my surgery. cysterscopy and optical uretherostomy. was informed if they find scarring or stricture it will be rectified-key hole dr. informs me. dr. is worried about my fatigue, has ordered complete and thorough bloods, and for the first time iron count. yeah thinks i am deficient, i too, i do not eat much meat, too expensive, and because of beliefs i try to not consume much. see dr. in 2 weeks, results, blood and opg. he is aware that i am very overwhelmed, thus we will chat next time. -management plan.
now, the big news. my lady and i are going to be engaged. she has done some hinting, and yes has picked out the ring too!!!!!!! no rushing, and u know what i am darn stoked!!! hit the town after seeing her friday nite, my sis is very proud and excited, as is my mate bob who has supported me with all the issues-thick and thin, luv ya mate!!!! things are happening. you guys have been proud advocates too. thx for the continual support-will probably require more-we have upped the ante-well she has, as i have continually increased her own independance.
slow and steady. but isn't this just wonderful. with loving compassion. jamie. mum maybe right after all. that is i swore madly over the years that i will never marry...........well...........mum's do know best..

Jamiee! I am sooooo excited for you! Congrats on all fronts -- so much wonderful news all at once. You totally deserve it, man. :)

I do want to encourage you to try to eat a bit more. Being vegan is totally cool, but it does mean having to carefully plan out your nutrients so you get enough of everything. Are you okay with taking supplements or would you rather stay with only getting your nutrition from foods? There are organic, 100% natural, 100% vegan supplements out there if you're interested & that is one way to eat less food (though you still need a certain number of calories). Please do take care of yourself, though. Being healthy is the best gift you can give both to society & to mother earth. If you're trying to conserve as much as possible, taking care of yourself is the best way to cut down on consumption of resources. I know it doesn't always seem like it at the time, but it is true. Now, don't go getting discouraged out of getting the treatments you need right now. Those are blessings, so receive them with a smile :), just trying to point out that it's okay to eat more food if you need it to keep healthy.

Others here on the forum encouraged me to grow my own food this summer; well, that never got off the ground (or in the ground, as the case may be -- lol), but I did start buying locally grown foods at the farmer's market. It is cheaper than the organic grocery stores & you know exactly what you're getting (plus, it's even less energy since they sell outdoors, needing no electricity, tile flooring, air conditioning/ventilation, etc.). So maybe something along those lines could help you as well. If your tummy is bothering you, maybe it could be from soy. I know my stomach gets really sick when I drink too much soy milk. They've started selling hemp milk now through PeaPod & Whole Foods here in the U.S. (it's totally legal, just in case anyone's wondering) & it doesn't make my stomach sick, so maybe that could be an option for you, not sure where all it's available. It's about the same price as soy milk & tastes really good.

Anyways, congrats on everything! Let us know how the testing goes. Wishing you wellness & even more good news.
