I've encountered quite a few difficult episodes in the last year.  I lost my father this past year, my meds are out of whack and I'm entering that great episode called the change of life.  I have been really depressed.  I'll get up and go to work everyday, but don't ask me to do a lot on the weekends.  Sometimes that is just to tough to handle.....

I totally agree with Jamie. But would also like to add, you named the thread speedbumps. Maybe that means you should slow down a little. Try to take life one day at a time. Take it as it comes. Do something nice for yourself on the weekends. I am going through the same thing. Hot flashes all the time. I am always hot at work. Today was pretty bad. But I made it through. I only work on the weekends lately, so I have a lot of time in between to get other things done.

Keep posting we are all here for you.

Hugs, Karen

I know I am knew, but I lost my father, also, so I am sorry to hear about that. As for the change of life, I know it can make any probems much worse. Some things you are feeling may be due to that. Think about what Jaimee said, and see a doc. Hormone replacement, can make a HUGE difference in your life, if only for awhile. Lots of treatments avilable, and not all are bad for you. Bio-Identicals work for lots of people. Sorry about yout Dad.
